Black Fox was born from our love of the mountains and our desire to share our passion for this remarkable place. Before making Sun Peaks our permanent home in 2017, we were guests ourselves — bringing the family here several times a year and building the kind of memories that make a place truly special. So much so that we packed up, moved with our two youngest children, and put down roots for good. Shortly after, two of our three adult children followed — and became locals themselves.
In 2022 we purchased our first rental property and began managing it ourselves. Word spread quickly about how we cared for our guests and our properties, and we've been growing ever since. Everything we do is driven by one goal: helping our guests create those same extraordinary memories and experiences that first captured our hearts as visitors.

"Darren & Jennifer’s place was lovely. A private little getaway surrounded with trees, giving you a beautiful atmosphere to soak in the hottub. The rental was clean and equipped with everything we needed and more."
"Our stay was absolutely lovely, it's a great space and we made the most of the amenities! The hot tub was clean and refreshing, the washing machine and dryer was so easy (and really handy for a roadtrip) and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. The hosts were also really friendly and were happy to help and quick to respond to messages. We'd love to return!"
"Beautiful basement suite just a 25 minute walk from the village along the golf course/village trail. Everything was exactly as advertised. Private hot tub looking over a forested creek. Suite was modern and cozy, with everything you could need. Hosts were great and offered to pick things up if they were missing anything. Bed was a bit soft for our liking but we just might be picky. Only thing negative I could think of. Would love to come back!"
